TESTIMONIALS
"Thought I’d email you to let you know that
I was recently a patient here at P--- Community Hospital. During my stay I had an
IV placed at the bend in my elbow. Once the GoLightly took effect I made a jolt
out of the bed along with the IV line which somehow I got stuck under the call light...
which ultimately pulled the IV out of my arm.
The nurse came and had another nurse come and put a new IV, this time in my hand,
and they used the SorbaView Shield. I cannot tell you the difference it made and
how much more securely the IV stayed in place. It was very comfortable and was easy
to remove. It’s a great product."

"My name is Molly and I recently
had the opportunity to try Sorbaview Shield. I was diagnosed with leukemia in November
2008 and have had a picc line in my arm for 6 months to receive chemotherapy treatments.
Within the last 3 months, I have been battling allergic reactions and skin irritations
around my picc line that was dressed with Tegaderm and Statlock. My nurses and I
experimented with a variety of dressings, sterilization methods, etc but found little
change if any on my skin. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I tried Sorbaview Shield
and within one week found my skin less red and irritated, and my skin was also less
itchy. The Sorbaview Shield dressing made huge, huge impact on my skin! It was a
night to day difference and I wouldn’t go back!"

"This is a snapshot*
of a PICC I placed on a gentleman who came in with drug overdose, DT’s, ect. He
was a rough Houser! Restraints and all he managed to get a hold of his "power PICC",
vendor unnamed. Now my dressing was rough looking but it held up until the end.
We had to keep a close eye on him because he moved so much and the drainage was
inevitable. The guy broke his PICC Catheter in half I tell ya but the Sorbaview
w/ Shield held the remainder of the picc in place!! Amazing! I can’t tell you how
happy I am with these dressings! Thanks."

"We switched to the Sorbaview
in January. It is performing extremely well. The securement feature is great. We
are also finding that the dressing adherances lasts the full 7 days decreasing our
premature dressing changes over these past months I have had only one tech complain
about the dressing. My rep has been fantastic and has made unit rounds frequently
only to find that the staff loves the dressings, they are performing well and there
are NO complaints!"

"We are
trialing currently. Can’t pull out the catheter no matter how hard you tug. Also
looking to use the small pedi dressing as an IV securement dressing since at least
half of the IV statlocks in our kits are discarded and not used. Huge cost savings
and works great."

"I recently had an opportunity
to try the Sorbaview Shield on a patient that was having a problem with tape/tegaderm
skin irritation. We applied the product and the patient (who was a nurse) loved
it and her skin tolerated it well. Being in an LTAC unit, her rehab was escalating
and the Sorbaview Shield held up well 7 days with no catheter migration. She has
been using it for close to a month now with no issues. The patient also commented
that it was much more comfortable because the Statlock was not pressing into her
side and it was much softer 'feeling' than the Tegaderm."
